Hoss50 Report post Posted March 30, 2017 What azelkhunter2 said. Cold and windy. Last years cow elk hunt in 7e was just that on a few of the days. It was cutting even heavy clothes. I messed up twice and got my base layer sweaty and I was colder than I have ever been before. I spent a winter in North Dakota working outside so that should say something. 2 years ago started of cold in 7E and warmed up quite a bit through the hunt though. It was in the 50's by closing day. hunt4horns Report post Posted March 30, 2017 Best time I ever had was in unit 10 late rifle, seen some toads unfortunately it was after I had already smashed a 360".
