Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted March 29, 2017 I had no idea Lake Mary had cat. Crazy!!!! Many years ago(during my college days) a buddy of mine and I decided we were going to do some "night" cat fishing out on the lake in his boat! We thought we were prepared for summer time late night and froze our Aces off!!! For about three years we went out to Lake Mary after work evenings and consistently caught decent walleye and pike at Lake Mary during the summer months, always close by and great fishing memories!!! Desert_Angler Report post Posted March 29, 2017 I had no idea Lake Mary had cat. Crazy!!!! Yeah a lot of people don't even know that they are there until they accidentally catch one while fishing for northern pike using anchovies.
ready2hunt Report post Posted March 29, 2017 I've thought about throwing a line in there many times for pike, just to say I have caught one. Do you guys (who fish it) fish from a boat or shore fishing? would have access to either but obviously shore would be easiest.

Do you guys (who fish it) fish from a boat or shore fishing? would have access to either but obviously shore would be easiest. Like I said, haven't fished it for long, long time, we did see people fishing all the time from the bank but always fished from a boat. Seemed like weeds were pretty thick from the bank but the guy who caught this cat was supposedly fishing in 2 feet of water at the weed line so!!!!
