gorczyca Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I'm getting ready for my hunt in 36C in a couple of weeks. I know where I'm going to be hunting, but I was wondering how the weather has been down there? Rain fall? Etc. I know some of you fellas are in those parts...just checking in for a report on how things are looking this year. We'll be setting camp the Wed before the opener and will have a day and half to do some scouting. I know the area fairly well, but haven't been there in 2-3 years. I know there's a lot of illegals runnin around...but I'm not worried. Just looking for some info...thanks for the assistance guys. Good luck to all! Scott G. Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Hey Scott, You can get an idea of the rainfall from this: http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/psr/DroughtPage.php?data=2007 Don't forget about the fire that was south of Kitt Peak this summer. Doug~RR
stanley Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Doug provided some good info on the rainfall..... Weather is WARM Scott!!! Things haven't changed too drastically since the last time you were there though. Deer will still likely be in all the usuall spots (as far away from the roads as possible.... ). I'll be over in "A" this weekend poking around a bit. Heading-out late tonight after football practice! I'll then be there again for the junior hunt with my oldest. Good luck to you this year! S. DotShot Report post Posted October 26, 2007 I've got the Nov. hunt as well and have been taking quite a few trips down there to check on the water situation. I know that the area i will be focusing on has got about 13"+ since the start of the monsoon season. I have attatched a picture of and area we checked out and pay attention to the date on the picture, its hard to beleive its that green at that time of the year. I would venture to guess the temps will be in the low to mid 80's during the day with over night lows in the mid to upper 40's.
