Chris Report post Posted April 15, 2017 Leupold is really missing the boat by not adding a 4-20 & 5-25 if they are priced comparably ($1.5-2.5K). The 3.5-27 Mark 8 is a good scope, but they priced themselves with far superior optics, and the Mark 8 falls short of those lofty aspirations. Why buy a $4500 Leupold when you can get almost any S&B PMII, a Hensoldt, or 5-25 Tangent Theta for the same, or usually much LESS, cash? The 3.5-27 Mark 8 barely holds its own against a $2500 Vortex (Razor Gen II or AMG). And the new Minox ZP-5 series, Kahles K624i, and a few other $2500-3000 scopes crush it. I hope this is a step in the right direction and Leupold starts upping their game and listening to the public. Reticle choices really need a revision too. Dear Leupold, HIRE this guy for your marketing dept.!
6AYoteHunter Report post Posted April 16, 2017 4-20 with the impact reticle and a mil version of the same reticle would sell like crazy with a fair price Add FFP as an option and could be the number one scope for the year.
