Bryson Bendall Report post Posted October 24, 2007 DUDE i know what you mean firstcoues, one and a half more days of work and then it is over. i seriously look at the clock like every ten minutes...patience, patience, AAAAHHHH screw patience i'm about to call in sick. went and shot the gun yesterday and I am ready. One time I archery deer hunted for two days, thinking my tag was in my wallet the whole time when it was actually at my house in my underwear drawer. hmmmm, not cool, thankfully i didn't see a buck worth pursuing either of those days, but yikes! good luck to everyone this weekend, i'll be in 34b with the dad and two little bros (aka. the good luck charms). mattys281 Report post Posted October 24, 2007 Years ago I got up to head out, threw my pack in my truck, started it & took off only to drive about 1/2 a mile or so before realizing that I didn't have my bow!? Real rocket scientist here. At least I hadn't gone very far yet. More recently, I packed into the Mazatzal Wilderness for a look around & got all the way to the trail head (some 3 hours our so from home) & was strapping on my gear when I noticed that I didn't have my knife. At least it was a scouting trip & not a hunt.

Jimmy Buffett Report post Posted October 26, 2007 Oh yea!!! Two weeks to go and the countdown started weeks ago… along with the prep!! I have both my sons (18 and 25) hunting with me for the first time. I’ve hunted with each of them but this is the first time we will be out looking for the grey ghosts together. My friend and hunting partner is coming in from Florida and another friend and his son will be joining us for the weekend so we will have a full camp!!! This of has caused me to prep the full outfitters camp (less the wood stove and other un-needed cold weather gear!); wall tent, cook shack, etc. You talk about lists… My buddy and I got camp all set up during our archery elk hunt last year and went to do a shot along with our barley pops only to discover I had left the booze box at home!! We beat feet to town to get the needed replacements! Jimmy Buffett
