TATAat27 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 It's about time someone did something about this. Watch out plumbers you're next. http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/hourlyupdate/207734.php
CouesUnlimited Report post Posted October 23, 2007 SCAM!!! I do agree that people should not wear pants hanging off of their back side, but this is just another way for them to make money. They are getting as bad as the Game and Fish and their increase in permitt costs. Ha,ha,ha. But all jokes aside, I think there are bigger problems than people wearing pants to low. Just take a look around and I sure you can find many problems greater than saggy pants. I'm not one for politics, but I do have an opinion or two.
mattys281 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 That's awesome. I wish they'd make it illegal here, at least for anyone with a Y chromosome.
GameHauler Report post Posted October 23, 2007 That was proposed I think in New York City and the cops were against it because the baggy pants made it easier for them to run them down when they triped over them Mike
DesertBull Report post Posted October 23, 2007 Let the guys wear their baggy pants, but girls should wearing tight fittin' jeans. Unless they are Rosey O'Donnel look-a-likes.
missedagain Report post Posted October 24, 2007 Outlawing a fashion style? I guess they don't believe in the constitution in "cajun country"
TATAat27 Report post Posted October 24, 2007 I dont think the constitution gives anyone the right to run around half dressed in the name of so called fashion. I for one dont want my children looking at it, no one should have to. That goes for the saggy pants and half dressed women, I'm trying to raise a family here. Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted October 24, 2007 I agree TATA......I teach at the Jr. High and if profiling were a legal thing, I could peg my troublemakers, first day of school. Some of you may thing that it isn't right to peg a kid because of what they wear, and it ain't saying that it is righ, but.......you get a kid walk through the door with their hair dyed all different colors.....trouble.....pants hanging around his knees....trouble......hat on sideways or basackwards.....trouble. I told my boys if they wanted to wear their pants down around their knees and their hat jacked up.....they could do that after they left the house.....18 years old..... I really am not in favor a laws telling a person what they can and can't wear.....but there is some behavior tied to what a person wears.....
DesertBull Report post Posted October 24, 2007 Outlawing a fashion style? I guess they don't believe in the constitution in "cajun country" If you're talking about freedom of speech, pants don't talk. Well, ok, maybe after a couple of bowls of chili beans. I think the constitution does give you the right of freedom of expression. I think there is a difference between wearing saggy pants and exposing your rear end to the world. Don't forget there are already laws that prohibit indecent exposure. this law seems to target a specific group, you might as well outlaw being fat.
