DesertBull Report post Posted March 19, 2017 This bull is leading a hard life considering from where he lives he can see Fountain Hills and its mostly rock and manzanita. I've seen elk droppings here off an on over the years but never got a picture of one until now. I am at a loss at where this guy is getting water. Nothing permanent within 10 hard miles of up and down from where this pic was taken. He looks pretty ragged but they all do right now I guess as they shed their winter coats.

Zeke-BE Report post Posted March 19, 2017 I think in the 90s there was a bull elk on the news that got stuck in the canal. They had to saw the antlers off for travel safety while they took him back up north

WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted March 19, 2017 COA- I wouldn't admit you couldn't tell the difference between an elk and deer track on the internet. It is crazy how low I've seen elk over the last few years.

I have other good qualities! 😂 I can tell the difference between a pachyderm and caseys hoof prints.
