el diablo Report post Posted March 15, 2017 The lake looks green to me. Is there an algie bloom going on there? TJ I'm no expert but i think when all the rain/snow melt fills that quick it washes a lot of crap into he lake. Think it's actually good for the lake. Lots of good nutrients for the water. Should be a really good thing.

standman Report post Posted March 15, 2017 Still too low to launch boats from boat ramps? A lot of water. Lots of ramps in water. No issues launching. Brian
NOTAGS Report post Posted March 15, 2017 I had heard they kept the lake with water last year. Any truth to that? I could sure go for a crappie run this year!
Swivelhead Report post Posted March 16, 2017 Should be a mega spawn. Lord willing, we'll keep getting decent winter precipitation for the long haul.

OpticNerd Report post Posted March 16, 2017 Hey standman how'd the fish look? From your pics they look to be in good shape but two of them in that last pic seem to have a weird pinkish color to them.

standman Report post Posted March 16, 2017 Hey standman how'd the fish look? From your pics they look to be in good shape but two of them in that last pic seem to have a weird pinkish color to them. They are big and heathy. Just the way the fading light is making them look. Been catching three- four different age class of fish. The bass fishing is good too with great numbers and age classes. Bass are just gorging themselves on shad.
