New snake in the yard

Anyone have an idea?

 

Not a rattler.. that's the best pic I could get without a selfie stick =)

Looks like a gopher or bull snake to me too. Simular markins as a rattler and even imitate them. They'll coil up, spead their jaw out to give it the diamond shape head and his really loud. Sounds a lot like a rattler.

That's what they're good for. Keep mice down and rattlers stay away. King snakes are even better. They actually eat rattle snakes. I've heard rattlers will actually stay away from an area where a king snake lives

And.. was going out into the back patio to set some more mousetraps last night. They're digging out there.

 

Looks like this guy beat me to it. Had his head 6 inches down a hole.

 

Those snakes are coming out!!
