KaibabHunter Report post Posted March 11, 2017 Date: March 11, 2017 (today) / 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Where: 102 E Deer Valley Rd (Deer Valley Airport) The Phoenix Police Department is holding fundraiser on behalf of Officer Dave Glasser #8144 who succombed to his injuries on May 19th, 2016 after he was met with gunfire responding to a burglary call the day before. 100% of the funds raised are to send Dave's family and squad mates to Washington D.C. In May for National Police Week where Dave will be honored and his name will be added to the national memorial of fallen officers. There is a BBQ and pulled pork contest. Over 40 pro-PD vendors will be on site, many of whom are donating a portion of their proceeds to the cause. There are many top tier prizes being raffled including: an AR15, Glock 34, Vortex Razor scope, Leupold scope, vacation and golf packages, autographed sports memorabilia and more! Also, the department will have many of its aircraft on display as well as K9 and SWAT officers, and fire department displays, and live music as well for the kidsl.
