Needs a home please look

Recommended Posts

My sister is moving to Seattle at the end of the month and is trying to re-home her dog. A family backed out at the last minute. "Moby" is a 4 1/2 year old lab mix, neutered, all shots, complete vet records, loves to play ball and behaves well.

He is big, about 100 lbs.

Located in Mesa but we can work out just about anything.

If no one comes forward, I'll make room for Moby.

I'm hoping someone comes forward to take this dog. If not I ll probably foster home but it need not go to the pound. Looks like a fantastic yeller hound.

I knew I was going to catch some flack over posting this. Fact is "Moby" has been very well taken care of. He has spent many a night in an expensive "doggy day care" while my sister was out of town working as a child advocate to make sure that our tax dollars were properly applied for State funded day care centers, for children.

Believe it or not she's tore up about it. She hopes to do the responsible thing and find him a place where he won't be an apartment dog in Seattle.

How is he with other dogs? Has he been around children? Would he be ok with a cat? Great looking pup, I'll have to talk to my wife about him.

Absolutely the right place to look for a home for hounds like Moby.

CraigK, if the stars align for your family and Moby, I'm certain there are a thousand folks on CWT willing to help out with transportation, myself included.

If I show this to my wife, we will have our 4th dog :) ...seriously though, we could do it if need be.

hear ya, would make 5 for us. And I call my gf the Collector. But I'd still take him rather than the alternative.

This is one good looking lab mix. Looks all lab to me. Cwt members are absolutely the best. The picture shows Moby is going to make someone a happy family member. :)
