Kuiu packs???

Recommended Posts

Just curious why there are so many showing up for sale in the last few weeks. Was looking at trading in my eberlestock for one or a mystery ranch. Any thoughts?

I have the Icon 7200 and absolutely love it! I havn't found a backpack that is completely perfect but this one is pretty darn close.

Pros:

Rides really nice, and feels ridged on back

Can be compressed like a daypack or expanded to haul a full backpack camp and a boned out Coues

Lots of pockets inside and out to organize gear

Cons:

Pulls on zippers could be a little stouter

Rainfly should be included as part of the pack

Bottom side pockets should be made out of tougher material (possibly the same as bottom)

Thanks for the replies guys. The eberlestock packs are bomb proof imo but weigh a ton even empty. And I always have the wants for new gear.

Packs are kind of like bows in that they are very subjective. All the bags mentioned above are great, just different people have differnet needs/opinions. The Kuiu bag I have is the best bag I've ever had, IMO. I too was concerned about durability, but its held up much better than I thought it would.
