EBB Report post Posted October 17, 2007 So I broke down and ordered a new scope for my 300 on Thursday. It came today (Tuesday) and I am thrilled with the product and the service. I just wanted to say thanks to the folks at Camera Land for providing real service. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Oh, and that Zeiss Conquest with the Rapid Z reticle has a good chance to take me back to the days when I could actually shoot beyond 250 yards! EBB

Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 17, 2007 EBB, What Conquest scope and Rapid Z reticle did you get? Do the crosshairs get lost against the trees at dusk moreso than a duplex reticle would? Doug~RR

Doug~RR Doug, I got the 3-9X50 with the Z 600. I took it outside at dusk and looked all over with it (50 to over 700 yards). I don't think it's going to be any trouble for me. The biggest thing is I went to Sportsmens last year to look for something and couldn't find anything that worked for me (Presbyopia). I was resigned to wearing reading glasses around my neck so I could shoot. I could adjust the reticles sharp but then the object I was looking at was blurry or I could adjust the focus and lose the reticle. This one has a diopter that allows me to see both very sharp. I don't know if it would work like this for everyone but that's how it is for me. I'm a new man!
