Older 1970-72 Remington Model 700 BDL .243

Recommended Posts

Bought it from a member to set up for my daughter and can't bring myself to cut the stock down. I just paid $250 for Phoenix Custom Rifles to put aluminum pillars in and bed it. Old style Remington trigger set at a little over 2lbs and crisp. I don't think a scope was ever mounted and shot with just the open sights. The bluing and crown and rifling are excellent. Should be a real shooter and the old steel is hard to beat, action is very smooth. 22" barrel

$700

Was that part of the pre 76 that had recalls for the hangfires? If so has it been done?

This sure looks like the 69 that I bought and busted stock trying to remove silicone bedding then searched high and low to replace with the correct original stock. Sold to member on here that sold or traded to another etc etc. Think this is same gun cycling around waiting for someone to scope her and call her baby.
