azcouesandelk Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Just got back from another weekend of scouting and HAM hunting in hopes that my dad would get his pig. Friday morning we glassed for several hours turning up some decent bucks but nothing spectacular. Then we saw some pigs so my dad circled around to head them off. He got 3 shots with his .357 but did not connect. Scouted the rest of the day and Saturday turning up some more bucks with 2 good bucks. Then this morning while hiking up to our perch at first light I spotted a herd of pigs only 25 yards away. My dad decided to carry my .460 but had it in his pack so no shot but we came close.
