Saguaro Report post Posted February 12, 2017 I will follow up with the department tomorrow, but want to see if anyone here knows the answer. I have a friend that is interested in hunting. He is not a citizen yet, but has a SS card. He's been here for almost 28 years legally and works. I just finished up my application and noticed there is the question about being a US citizen, and if not, the dept will generate a number for you as a foreign person. He already has a SS, so why generate the number. Anyone have experience with a case like this? Can he even handle a firearm legally? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
