Ram oil change

Recommended Posts

Cummins owners be jealous, my hunting partner that I work with made this cap for my oil filter. No more spills since it has to come out sideways after getting it loose. Love it.

I'm happy for you. You're welcome to pay more for the same exact service.

Mine comes out the top in a plastic grocery bag. Nothing is spilled outside the bag. Mine is a 2005 Dodge Cummins. I have done it this way on both my Cummins trucks. My old 98.5, and my current 05.

I learned the hard way about using an open top oil pan underneith, and a plastic bag on the filter.

3 gallons of oil can't flow through that little hole in the closed top plastic pans to not overflow them, and you can't take the filter out without spilling without the bag.

No need to be happy for me ! Someone has to support that liberal company

I was thoroughly shocked when I heard someone say they take the vehicle to Walmart for service kinda blows my mind especially off of this website

I just take pride in working on my own vehicle thats all . To each there own

I use full synthetic and it cost me 75.00 bucks. I just don't trust people, most are not paying attention or don't care. I've seen and heard of oil not being changed at all, I've heard guys mark the oil filter and it wasn't changed, I've seen loose pan bolts. I work hard and pay a lot for my trucks and I want it done right with care and attention. It's always good to give a good look to the truck and oil as well while it's being done.

Mine is a 2015 and there is no takining it out any other way than sideways out the wheel well.

I fully understand you that's the same thing I do fully synthetic oil ! But I'm here to tell you I pull mine out the top every time I change it ! I just take the two clamps off the air intake hose One goes to the turbo the other to the air box And take it out of my way and I pull it straight up . Doesn't take long at all
