syd34 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 Jake and Noah filled their 2017 Javalina tags yesterday in the Rincon Mountains. This was jake's first big game animal and Noah's second javelina. We glassed the herd about 1,300 yards away, almost every yard of that was uphill. After hiking up the mountainside we found the herd rooting around in some open grass. Jake took the first shot and put his javelin down and Noah followed up shortly after with another one shot harvest. We took some photos and then cleaned the javelin and started the mile and a half hike out. Another great day in the field with the boys!
