Recommended Posts

So if anyone bought one of the 65s at this price, had it delivered, and had the wife goes ballistic about you buying another piece of hunting/camping gear, let me know and I'll give you what you paid for it. ;) ;) ;)

Just saw this, Yeti is butt hurt:

RTIC IS VERY PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE AN AGREEMENT REACHED WITH YETI

RTIC, the leading direct to consumer online retailer of premium coolers and drinkware announces that it has entered into a settlement agreement with YETI today for the purpose of avoiding the additional costs and uncertainty of continued litigation. The dispute has been amicably resolved and as part of the agreement, RTIC has agreed to redesign only those products involved in the dispute.

As part of the Agreement, RTIC is precluded from commenting further, but RTIC is very pleased with the settlement and considers it a win.

RTIC had previously announced last month changes to its 2017 product lines and expects to rollout new products and updated existing products starting in early Spring. RTIC will continue to operate as normal selling all the RTIC brand of products as provided on the www.RTICcoolers.com website keeping true to its promise to deliver "Over Built Not Over Priced" products to all its RTIC fans & customers.

About RTIC

RTIC is the leading direct to consumer online retailer of premium coolers and drinkware. It was founded by twin brothers John and Jim Jacobsen and has generated almost 1.5 million followers on Facebook since shipping its first cooler in September 2015 and now employs over 100 people. RTIC is based in the Houston suburb of Cypress and owns fulfilment centers in Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Harrisburg & Fresno occupying over 300,000 square feet of space.

I'll bet. It has to be hurting their business when other companies will sell an equal quality product and not require the consumer sell their first born or a kidney to be able to afford it.

According to Rtic, they will have more 65's available soon. (Before the redesigned model is released)

Now I'll be checking every day

I used mine this weekend. Wasn't impressed with ice keeping ability compared to a regular Coleman cooler. I like how it pretty much sticks to the bed of a truck though

did you use a commercial freeze to freeze the cooler and then load it in said freezer? If you load these fancy coolers like you load a Coleman, very little benefits. I'm not nocking them, I have one. But they need special attention.

No and I'm sure the drinks I put in were too warm. So don't take my review too seriously lol. But I was in pinetop and it was freezing at night. They're heavy as heck with stuff in them.

any time it's below 26 degrees or so, I open the lid. There's been a few times that I've froze stuff that I didn't want to freeze.

Sticking to the bed of the truck is always a plus when road hunting. ;)
