willhunt4coues Report post Posted January 11, 2017 My dad harvested on the first hunt in late sept. He was the only person to harvest a BULL. Only 1 other person harvested and it was a COW. The other 3 tags no one harvested. He shot this bull at 10 yards with his Sharps 45-70. The elk just were not on this side this year because no COWS were on this side.
