azslim Report post Posted January 6, 2017 you'll spend a lot more time behind bino's than a spotting scope, Swaro's

I have the 12x50 el and new Razor 85 combo you mentioned. Great combo. I'd go higher end on the binos since that is what I use 90% to 95% of the time when glassing. As much as I would love a Swaro spotter, I know I personally wouldn't get the use out of it to justify the steep cost increase to upgrade from the Razor.
Rumhunter84 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 So 15x56 swros or 12x50 EL swros I was really looking at the 12x50 but tge new 15s look badass !
rossislider Report post Posted January 6, 2017 I went with the 12x50s because I carry a spotter for far stuff and I don't want to carry around 2 pairs of binos.
dse Report post Posted January 6, 2017 I would keep the 8s add the 15x56hd swaro's and a spotter if you choose. I use 10x42 ELs and the 15 hds, just picked up the 20-60x65 ATS. This scope is complete garbage! If I was looking for a spotter I would only consider the Swaroviski STX.
mattys281 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 I had that vortex spotter for one trip. Image was very fuzzy around the edges and it drove me nuts, so it was returned as soon as I got home.

cjl2010 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 I'm glad the 12s vs 15s discussion is here again, tough decision.
twigsnapper Report post Posted January 6, 2017 I've had both the 12x50 els, and the 15x56 hds. I am now running the 12x50 cabelas Euro hds and the sts 65mm swaro hd spotter. Cabelas Euros are a better option then the vortex razors. Swaro 12's are best but the Euros aren't far behind. Shop hard and watch for good deals. Guys tend to sell their stuff this time of year.
Big or Bust Report post Posted January 6, 2017 Swaro HD 12's or 15's and a Meopta S2 or Swaro HD spotter.... Anything Vortex in a binocular is an easy pass...
