mattys281 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 I'm not sure where, but there will definitely be another out of state trip this year. Probably back to Nebraska for another dose of midwestern whitetails, and/or up to Colorado for OTC elk. Depends a lot on what Az's elk draw has in store for me. Red Rabbit Report post Posted January 2, 2017 Sounds fun Dan.. I picked up a CZ in 17 HMR with my Christmas bonus. It has been a few years since PDs were targets. Being on the low end of bonus points for deer and elk here in AZ, I hope to go back to Wyoming for antelope this year now that I have built up 6 points. In 2016, I also picked up a 28 Nosler, 30-06, built a 6.5 Creedmoor, and rebarreled the 6.5 WSM; so there will be a choice on what to take to WY, although I suspect the 6.5WSM will get the call again. Of course, there is the Nikon to shoot in the off-season and I hope to venture to some new landscape spots.
