GreyGhost85 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 I think I finally found my next rifle and it is on Gunbroker. I have never bought anything off the site. I know basically I buy it and it needs to get shipped to an FFL, but has anyone here ever bought anything off of there that can help me out? Any one here an FFL that would be willing to help, or anybody know a good FFL that could? FFL east valley preferred. thanks for the help in advance!
Wrk2Hnt Report post Posted December 28, 2016 It's pretty easy. Just buy from someone with good feedback rating. Once you figure out who you want to use for the FFL just have them send their info to the seller referencing your name, phone #, and what the item is so they can match it easily. I recommend Healy, plus they are a sponsor and like the CWT guys.
el diablo Report post Posted December 28, 2016 Bought several guns and ammo from there. Just like wrk2hnt said you can use just about any gun shop. Its very easy. Just make sure you buy from sellers with several good reviews like said above. Also make sure you check all the fees which should all be right there on the post (shipping, CC fee and such). IA Born Report post Posted December 28, 2016 Not much to add that hasn't been said. Recently bought a pistol through Gunbroker and used a buddy here in Flag for the FFL. Was extremely pleased with the results and would do it again in a heartbeat! And, yes, go with sellers with good feedback reviews!
GreyGhost85 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 So, do you buy it first, then find an FFL? if so, how long is do you get to do so?
IA Born Report post Posted December 28, 2016 I think most people have an FFL lined up, but I know my recent purchase had stipulations like "...contact seller within 5 days..." and "...make payment and arrangements within 10 days..." or something like that. I've also seen where there is a drop down menu to pick an FFL from that is near you. I don't have any recommendations for the Valley, so I can't help you there. Here in Flag, I could hook you up. bonecollector Report post Posted December 28, 2016 If your close to Tempe (McClintock & Guad) Healy's will do it for you.
el diablo Report post Posted December 28, 2016 So, do you buy it first, then find an FFL? if so, how long is do you get to do so? You can do it either way. Once purchased all you have to do is find the FFL you're goin to use and they can email a copy to the seller. Literally takes 2 seconds. Most gun shops will do it for you. Most of the good sellers on there pretty much lay it out for you. Make sure if you're paying with credit or debit that they seller accepts it. Most charge 3% but worth to not have to wait and mailing a money order.

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 It's a Winchester model 70 featherweight in .264 win mag. Had a Sendero in .264 for years and loved it but it was too d@mn heavy and i sold it and have wanted another one ever since. was going to go with 6.5X284 but already have brass, dies, powder, etc. for the .264 and couldn't pass it up. really a tough rifle to find anymore
L Cazador Report post Posted December 28, 2016 Sounds like a nice rifle. You should always have a dealer that will receive for you before you bid. That's the usual SOP. There is a place on Gunbroker,"find a dealer",that gives several dealers in your zip code. Everybody has different charges and restrictions, so it's best to line yourself up with a dealer first. I've been doing business at Gunbroker now for over 40 years, great place!
Couzer Report post Posted December 29, 2016 Very cool man! Yea you don't hardly see the 264 sitting on the shelves at gun stores anymore! Great choice
