This is why you ship all your hunting purchases to the office and sneak it in when she isn't home. If your situation is anything like mine, you have so much hunting gear and crap that she is completely oblivious to the addition of another piece every now and then, even if you have it out right in front of her. The trick is getting it in the house for the first time when new.

 

Also, don't be naive enough to think she doesn't do the same with things she knows you can't (or don't want to) keep track of like jewelry, shoes, purses, etc. Ever notice a different pair of shoes and ask "New shoes?" only to get the reply, "No, I"ve had them forever, just haven't worn them in a while." Yeah right!
