n2horns Report post Posted December 16, 2016 Happens more than you think, my family still lives along / near the Santa Monica Mountains and 2 years ago, my sister was sitting on her driveway talking with a neighbor at night and across the street a cat walks along the wall, across the driveway and grass and down the street it went. They but up to a hill, cat didn't have a collar. Last year the cat maybe same one, found few miles away under a porch. This year, within the same few miles, the cat was seen walking through a school. I was hiking a few years back through the mountains and saw a nice size coyote running through a meadow, i reached for my him and wait, no gun, yep California sucks. Yet i go back to visit family otherwise, id stay in a free state of AZ.
bigorange Report post Posted December 16, 2016 Was talking about this with my buddy's mom recently...she lives in CA (not sure where) and has lots of deer and elk in her yard. Her neighbor has tried to convince her that there are no lions in their area...we kept telling her if there are deer and elk there are lions. Nice video though...much more exciting than the bobcats in my yard with a rabbit kill.
