cosninocanines Report post Posted December 12, 2016 Fox in a Juniper maybe. This little guy went straight up a pinon. I have several pictures of coyotes looking up into this tree and always thought they were looking at bats or birds roosting. Now I wonder.

CatfishKev Report post Posted December 12, 2016 According to my boss at a pest control company and long time trapper foxes will actually live in trees. Sounds hard to believe.

Swivelhead Report post Posted December 12, 2016 Very cool photos (all of them). Not saying foxes can climb as good as a cat but not too far from it.
CatfishKev Report post Posted December 13, 2016 Foxes live in trees. Getting easier and easier to believe. Those pics are crazy, they must have serious claws.
PatrickJr Report post Posted December 13, 2016 These 2 coyotes chased this fox up a tree, both coyotes are pictured if you look hard enough (look at 11 oclock, 3 yards from coyote #1). Coyotes left after 30 minutes and the fox stayed in the tree for hours on a hot october day.

mattys281 Report post Posted December 13, 2016 I'd read years ago that foxes are more closely related to cats than they are to dogs, but I never heard of them climbing before. That's really cool, I guess you learn something new every day.
