Actually was quite a fun hunt and got to meet with a lot of the local farmers. I was surprised how wary these things are and it is almost impossible to sneak up on. Next to prove whether or not they truly are the "Ribeyes in the sky"....

I'm thinking more like yuck. I have heard javelin taste like rib eye also but that's false reporting.

Why would you want to hunt these critters?

#1 Best tasting waterfowl type bird out there that I know of.

 

#2 Challenge, these birds are not easy to fool.

 

#3 Loud thump when they hit the ground.
