grizzly Report post Posted September 27, 2007 That happened to my buddy in high school, we were shooting a big metal pylon from about 60 yds with a .223 and the ricochet hit him in the gut. The heat of the slug cauterized the wound immediately and he was able to pull the slug out with his fingers, it only went in about 1/2". Still very scary for a second. TAM Report post Posted October 1, 2007 I remember as a kid shooting my BB gun at an old tire on the ground in my backyard. I can still remember seeing the BB traveling through the air and hitting the exact spot on the tire that I was aiming for and then bouncing back almost the same identical path right back at me hitting me in the forehead about an inch above my eye.
