Couestracker Report post Posted December 6, 2016 A black bear was eating the berries from this tree or bush. Can anyone ID the species? They taste slightly sweet, similar to grapes and have a large single seed inside. Oh, and I missed the bear. 😡  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Edge Report post Posted December 8, 2016 Found some of these in some fresh bear scat yesterday, along with juniper berries and pinon nuts. Occurred to me if the bear would chew his food a little, he wouldn't be so hungry. You're at the company Christmas party and everyone is taking handfuls of mixed nuts and swallowing them whole.
