Swivelhead Report post Posted December 7, 2016 I cut the breast cross grain about 1/4" thick. Salt & pepper then pan fry (hot) in butter. Surprisingly good if not over cooked. Hunted cranes 5 or 6 times. Never have limited out but usually get 1 or 2. Built 10 dozen silhouette dekes a few years ago. Birds will check them out but they do not pass muster at close range. I'd love to use full bodies but am unwilling to store large decoys all year for a 1-2 day hunt once a year. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
