Don't flinch

Recommended Posts

Here is what happens when you flinch at 50 yards. This is going to be expensive. It sure gave off a good spark. I green scored it at 220 volts. David

Those Magnus Stingers are deadly. I have penetrated steel that was a 16th of an inch thick. They are super sharp also. I caught one of the bleeder blades while pulling it out of my target and sliced my pinky finger pretty good. You could have trailed me all the way to my house with no problem David

That's an easy fix for an electrician. (rather inexpensive) Since it hit your power for the a/c condenser how hot is the house? :o

I will agree that's some good penetration. ;)

My electricians normaly take about 15 minutes to wire a unit up but seeing it's a service call they will probably hit you up

for a trip charge and the minimum 1hr.

Is there any electrians on C/W that can hook the brother up????

My buddy is an electrical contractor, so he is sending somebody over for me. It hasn't gotten that hot in the house yet. It doesn't matter anyways, I am leaving in a little while to scout up north for my elk hunt. The wife and kids are on there own. David

I have a friend who sent an arrow into the neighbors garage wall after the arrow went over their fence. Another friend sent one into his neigbor's back yard. Both don't shoot in their yards anymore due to the risk. Saw one guy at the range touch his release while drawing back; arrow would have cleared a house had it been in his yard. Look at the rafters at the indoor ranges.

Ahem.

When I first started shooting, I had a release that was sort of a C-shaped dealie. I think it was a Truefire or such. I was in my backyard drawing back when it popped all on its own. The arrow was pointed up at about a 35 deg. angle. It sailed over my neighbor's yard, which is on the corner, clear over a street and wound up two yards farther down the block. Fortunately neither of the houses on the other side of the cross street had fences. So I was able to retrieve the arrow.

BUT...in the meantime, when it popped my hand came back with such force, that it drove two teeth thru lower lip and dang near knocked me out cold. It wasn't pleasant. I immediately went out and bought a concho-type release. -TONY
