hesbinrubn Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Looking to get new tires on 07 chevy 4x4. Was not a fan of the old BFG AT due to tread chunking out and tread corners into sidewall. I have had Cooper ATP and loved them. Everyone keeps telling me the new BFG AT KO2 are a completely different tire which i can tell they are different in looks. Anyone have an opinion on good all terrain tires? Also anyone work at Discount Tire on here , ? I might have a few questions for you. My size will most likely be 275/70/18 Thank you , Rich
longshooter Report post Posted November 20, 2016 I have the new bfg at ko2 on my 2016 f250 with over 10,000 miles on them and so far I'm really liking them . They seem to be holding up pretty good and I'm not easy on them one bit. Hard to tell with only 10,000 miles but so far so good. I heard great reviews from lots of tire guys before I got them . I was actually going to get the Toyo mt mudders but got talked out of them and to get the bfg ko2.
n2horns Report post Posted November 20, 2016 I ran Cooper st maxx. Great for off road and had good on road manners too. This year I'm not hunting as much I put on Cooper atp. Still great for trails.
azhamill Report post Posted November 20, 2016 I've been running the new ko2's for a year. I got a 80 mile drive, work to home everyday and I'm out in the hills once a week and more during hunting season's. I'm running a 285/75-16 on my 97 4Runner they do ok in some real 4x4 spots but other then that it's a great tire. I recommend them to everyone I knw. If your located in Tucson I got a buddy that's a manager at discount.

cjl2010 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 I'll probably get around 45000 miles out of my at2. That's about 70/30 street and crappy unit 22 roads. Tires on a 3/4 dodge diesel
Hoss50 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 I had Toyo at's last set. They were good but I switched back bfg at's. They dont ride quite as nice but they have much better ice and snow traction. I like the bfg better all around.

n2horns Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Rotating the off road tires Isa must, keeps them wearing much more evenly I rotated every 2500 miles. I ran my cooper st Maxx shy of 2 years. That was about 40k.
