n2horns Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Went to see Hacksaw Ridge with my dad this afternoon, thought it was well made and put the Bible, religion and ones beliefs into the spot light. For a Saturday afternoon, there was about 30 people watching it.
ASUOutdoorsman Report post Posted November 20, 2016 That was a good movie. Very few movies I'd go watch again, this is definitely one of them.

Elkaddict Report post Posted November 21, 2016 not fiction, PBS had a show about this guy maybe 10 years ago In an interview Mel Gibson, the director, said they couldn't include some of his feats, no one would have believed them.
bonecollector777 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 I really liked it, just had a hard time taking it seriously due to Vince Vaughn being the other main character. Can't see him in a serious role because of all his other movies are comedy.

n2horns Report post Posted November 22, 2016 My sister and I thought the same about Vince, however I think he did a great job compared to comedy. I wish Mel would have put in the other scenes.
IA Born Report post Posted November 22, 2016 We saw it at the 0945 showing on opening day (Nov 4). We rarely go to the movie theater anymore, but this is one I wanted to see on the big screen. Absolutely amazing story.
