IdahoCTD Report post Posted November 19, 2016 I know I waited to the last minute to find the site and I have some ideas on where to go but if someone is willing to give me some hints I'd appreciate it. My buddy and I drew for the Nov. 25th season in 33. I've never hunted Coues deer but I have hunted Blacktails in CA a lot as a kid as well as mulies and whitetails here in ID. We will most likely pack in several miles and camp out to get away from the crowds. We do that quite often here in ID so it's nothing new to us except the taking all your water with you part. Any and all help is welcome even if it is glassing advise. Nathan
452b264 Report post Posted November 19, 2016 This will get you going in the right direction. This is a dry state so hunting near remote water sources isnt a bad idea. https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/units/tucson/33
Zeke-BE Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Stay off the flat area in that unit and you will find them. Glass glass glass
IdahoCTD Report post Posted November 20, 2016 Thanks for the advise everyone. Is there a way to find remote water sources on a map? I see many of the tanks listed on Google.

Titanium700 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 On the backside on the range (north side) there is a mine/quarry. I've always had good luck seeing them around there.
