Westerhunter34 Report post Posted November 15, 2016 This is my wife's first mule deer, she is new to hunting. She shot this deer the day after opening day at 500 yrds with a 6.5 creedmoor 143 gr eldx. Shot was a little far back but we found him a short while later in the bottom of the cut he ran into.
