mattys281 Report post Posted November 11, 2016 Thats the way to go lance. I hadnt made a car payment in years and loved it. then last year one of my vehicles crapped out on me so I went over to buy the wife a new toyota. They offered me 0% interest so I took it instead of spending my money. Even with no interest it still sucks righting a check every month, so I think I'll pay it off and be done with it after I'm done paying uncle sam this spring. Zeke-BE Report post Posted November 12, 2016 This went from how much does your gun weigh to how much money do you have in your gun I look at it this way.... I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I don't have a bunch of babies running around, my truck is paid off, and I don't have a $2000/month rent, so my vice is my rifles and reloading. Money well spent in my opinion. Kind of like a car. A 76 Pinto will get you from A to B. And that is fine for a lot of people. Even though a 13 Mustang GT 500 still gets you to the same place, it is just more fun to drive, with a better ride and with a sense of pride doing what you enjoy. Debt free man!!! Thats the way to go Lance!. Im debt free but the house. It is very nice when you don't worry about other payment. Retirements accounts are being paid, plan vacations are saved, hunting trips are paid in cash. We can save a lot of money in interest once you pay the price and leaves lots of cash on hand to buy nice rifles (toy's) "you can pay now or pay later, but you spend lot more money in the end when you pay for it later"
