TATAat27 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 My friend and I went scouting in 36b on saturday, we scouted yellowjacket rd. for most of the morning and ended up in warsaw canyon at around 11:00 a.m. We glassed for awhile and saw nothing. The area looks very nice, but this was my first time down there, I was wondering if anyone has been down there and had any luck. Does it get very much pressure? Any info will be appreciated. Outdoor Writer Report post Posted September 19, 2007 This is my "mistake" Warsaw Canyon buck. There were two together, and I shot this one when it appeared in the clearing first. The big one stepped out five seconds after I shot. -TONY
TATAat27 Report post Posted September 19, 2007 Not a bad mistake, but I'm sure seeing the biggun' afterwards made you a little sick.
Atypical Report post Posted September 28, 2007 I hunted Warsaw last year in December, saw a coupel small ones and a 4 pointer. When scouting during the October hunt, it was indeed a parking lot, many 2 - 3 points hanging in the camps. They'll likely move out of there the first day w/all of the traffic and road hunters. Chap pants help as the stickers are bold.
