rossislider Report post Posted November 4, 2016 Agree completely with what has been said. I have a Tikka t3 in 7mm mag and a 7-08. Both shoot under MOA. I haven't been able to get a load dialed to my satisfaction for the 7-08, but the 7mm mag is close to 1 inch groups at 200 yards with no work done to it. It is my preferred pack rifle. My Sendero 300 RUM will out shoot them both, but weighs about 3 times as much and cost about 3 times as much (not including custom work done to it). Also agree completely with what was said about the included rings. They are garbage. Throw them away and get some Talleys. I also like the adjustable triggers on the Tikkas and highly recommend turning the trigger pull down. I have mine as low as they will go which is almost right at 2 lbs. forepaw Report post Posted November 4, 2016 Another nice thing about Tikka's is you can order a YoDave trigger spring ($18 w/ shipping) and drop the weight as low as 12 oz. I don't think you can go below about 2.25 - 2.5 lbs. with the factory trigger spring. forepaw
