birddogg21 Report post Posted November 1, 2016 Ok $800? First focal plain, illuminated reticle. Pretty sure this is a good deal compared to the over $1000 I paid. If you can get one new cheaper let me know so I can lower the price.

cohntr6 Report post Posted November 5, 2016 You mentioned you have a few others like this....Do you have the EBR-2c reticle in the same Viper PST?
birddogg21 Report post Posted November 6, 2016 I don't use mils. Though the math is simpler and you have to dial less. Moa is more precise. I do shoot with quite a few people in the PRS competition that use mils and love it. The thing is that you need to use one or the other and not mix scopes with moa and mils on different guns you own. I'm sure people do but it can be very confusing. For those who may not know on a Milrad scope 10 clicks is one mil which is 3.6 inches. Where four clicks on a moa scope is one MOA which is one inch. Which 14 clicks on a moa scope equals almost the equivalent of a milrad. Which is how MOA is more precise.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted November 6, 2016 1 MOA (or 4 clicks if the tracking is on) is 1.047" @ 100 yards for the record. IPHY is 1" @ 100 yards. Which is very rarely used in scopes. 1 MIL is 1cm @ 100 meters. .1Mil is 1mm @ 100 meters. .1mil is .36" @ 100 yards. 1 MIL is 3.4377 MOA. I do agree that switching between MOA and MIL could cause confusion if you don't pay attention. Lastly, $800 is a good price for a NIB PST.
birddogg21 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 was trying to keep it simple but yes and yes. Back to my point of why I don't use mil is because MOA is more precise. Also scopes is Sold pending funds
