Bret over at game trail taxidermy did it for me. His prices vary from velvet horns to hard horns because on velvet he had to inject them to preserve the velvet. The turn around time was under 3 weeks . He goes by GTT on this board so you might send him a pm with any questions... He also does a awesome job on shoulder mounts on coues
Joe Kauffman Report post Posted September 25, 2007 Ya Jim, that GTT dudes' a mount-a-holic . He's mounted almost everything I've gotten in the past 8 years...some of them more than once after a wild party ended with a busted up antelope falling off the wall . I have 2 nice archery bulls side by side on a wall at home, one done by Bret and one done somewhere else and there's no comparison! If I remember right, my 350 bull was the first good size bull Bret "mounted" when he started GTT and it's the best looking mount in my house . Nice buck longshooter! Huntn coues Report post Posted September 25, 2007 Quit spreading the word about GTT or Jim will never get his stuff done. Oh yeah I want him free to mount the family's 3 bulls 1 cow and 2 muley's that we are going to harvest soon,
GTT Report post Posted September 26, 2007 Joe, I forgot about the antelope but not the others...& I think your bull was like the 2nd or 3rd bull I had ever mounted...that was a few years back huh Glad to see you're still happy with the mounts. Huntn coues, I'll be sure to clear a space for your critters
