Outdoorsmans pistol grip head and center post

so whats left to complete the kit? Outdoorsman Tripod? not really familiar with their set up

Can those pistol grip heads be used on any other tripod or just the outdoorsman tripods?

I know I wish I had the extra dough right now! Apache, you will need the tripod to complete. This is just the head and the center post to extend what ever you mount on the tripod up higher. Pela, yes you can mount the heads to some other tripods. I know for a fact they will fit on Gitzo carbon tripods as well as Slik's, but not sure about others.

Thanks for the info. I've always wanted to try out this pistol grip head. I've heard nothing but good things about em. Hate that all these deals are up in the valley! If I wasn't packing for my hunt today after work, I might've considered driving up for it. I'm thinking it won't last at that price.
