Hatchet Jack Report post Posted October 14, 2016 How do you guys combat the bugs while glassing? Not so much mosquitos but those little green or yellow ones crawling in your eyes ears and nose. Will deet keep them off or do you jimmy rig a net to wear while glassing. Never tried a thermocell. Ideas ? The bugs where I've been scouting the past few weeks are relentless. bgshooter Report post Posted October 14, 2016 Looked at the Thermacell website and they specifically mention mosquitoes. So does this thing repel all bugs? That would be sweet.
Edge Report post Posted October 14, 2016 I used the early Thermocell version while fishing in SE Texas. Worked great on bugs but the gators didn't seem affected. Wonder if the scent would spook predators while hunting if they got a whiff.
