Just a Reminder

Recommended Posts

The Hassayampa Rod and Gun Club is operating a sight in service for hunters and shooters. 10.00 per gun for the first two and 5.00 for the third. This time of year G&F is to busy to assist shooters getting their guns on paper so they ask the club to do it. Located at the first range past the public range.

Excuse my ignorance and lack if knowledge but do hunters need help getting their rifles set up? Is it a big demand? I would think most folks would know how to do that but I'm not really sure now?

I could see some folks needing help. Even though I was familiar with it, the first time I sighted in by myself it was nice having a little help from the range staff. I wasn't aware that was something G&F normally did either.

I remember doing it when I was a teen. They really did a good job and helped me realize I was flinching when I shot.

Alot of hunters are not nearly as knowledgeable or dedicated as people on here.

there seems to be someone set-up at the first tables with a sled - my last couple visits -

you'd be surprised how the majority of the scope / sight-in problems are simple tightening of a couple screws

knowledge is where this guy gets it on paper and within 3 shots its cutting the bull at 100 yrds.

to many this is like gold as I see countless - guys shooting 1-2 boxes of shells and isn't any closer than when they started .

most of the problem with this type shooter - poor optics or form or spazzin / flinchin every shot

I still use a blank load to watch a newbie flinch - too funny

that little trick can majke a difference of a few shoots or a box or 2

I'm no expert but sometimes paying at little to save on ammo and know the gun is right and any mistakes are not the fault of the gun - goes a long way
