John O Report post Posted September 9, 2007 Spent 14 hours driving and glassing in the unit my son has for his Oct. whitetail hunt. These are a few of the photos. Can anyone guess the unit? The little mud wall was near a 30 foot unmarked open test shaft. The last three photos are "find the deer photos". The last one is a little blurry, but was at a half a mile through my 12 power binoculars with a hand held digital camera. Look close and you will see it. From what we could see it was a decent buck. Tucson John Report post Posted September 13, 2007 36A southwest of the Cerro Coloradoes. Ding Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winner. Between the base of the mountain and the ranch? Yeah, sorry guys..........I've been busy. I don't know the history of the ruin, but it's just north of the Seca right before you get to the big wash with the corrals and the windmill. The ruin was much more complete only a few years ago. It's to bad people feel the need to destroy our history. I spend quit a lot of time down there in January. I also work with Arizona Hunters Who Care trying to keep the area clean every spring and fall. Great country with lots of history. Thanks for the cool pictures!
