GameHauler Report post Posted September 9, 2007 Got to meet up with WTK, Brother and a friend today. They are scouting a great area this weekend and hope the lack of sign does not change their mind. As I have told WTK, the bulls are going to be on the move for the next several week and this would be a great area to keep an eye on. Stoped into their camp a little after daylight, No one home except their truck so I was sure they were out chasing the bulls I could hear over the next ridge. Came back by their camp early afternoon and still no one home. Set my tired Butt down in one of their chairs, under their shade and ate my lunch and really enjoyed their frosty beverage. They pulled into camp just as was getting ready to leave. Great guys, hope you have a chance to meet up with them sometime. Mike

YOUNGGUNZ Report post Posted September 10, 2007 Alright guys, just let me know what type of beverage should have for you guys? I did not realize that there were such refined tastes on this forum. I can’t say enough about Game Haulers hospitality, just a stand up guy and I as well as my brother (best time of year) are proud to be members with guys like him. Buy the way; we had so many bulls on that mountain I don’t know what to do or which one to go after. We saw quite a few rag horn five by’s and two bruisers. We had a hard time sleeping with all the bugling going on, no joke; they were bugling seventeen hours a day. They would only be quite from 0900 to 1600, and then they would fire back up. My buddy sat on a tank late Saturday and had a 340–350 class bull water and wallow in it for about 6 minutes, I only got a glimpse of him as he was headed through the tree to water but saw that he was the bull I was looking for this weekend. All in all it was more productive than I had anticipated. It is a fantastic area during the rut; we’ll have to see how it is in November. Thanks again Mike for all your help and hospitality. Class act. Carl
