Where is a good spot to take my kids? - city lake in DT Payson - East Verde River near 260 - Kohl's Ranch area Somewhere else? trying to be within 20-30 min of Payson. dmoto Report post Posted October 2, 2016 Might be a little late. But, if you guys are still around tomorrow...try and hike in between 2nd and 3rd Crossing north of Water Wheel.
