Goals

I have been stepping-out of my BowHunting comfort zone the past year by hunting Mulies down low(4-5K). This year will be some solo camping in the Santa Ritas, in a few ancient Native camp-sites I have found along the western slopes, that are in more open terrain and hold both Mulies and Coues...

Maybe the Ancients will bless me...

My goals this year is for my son to take his first bull elk....or any elk for that matter.

My daughter to take her first whitetail, would prefer her to get a buck but whatever happens to come along first I'm sure she will plug. (Our youth deer season starts this Saturday)

And for me to take another nice mature whitetail buck.

I'm sure that should be no problem on those goals.

I'd say my low goal is just to be out there but that's too low. At the very worst, I'll be camping and hiking with my gear. So let's bump it up a notch.

My low goal is to get a chance to shoot at any coues with an antler...hit or miss.

My high goal is to hit the shot and recover the buck.
