Alot of us guy's on this form are jokesters so don't take it to hard. We bash everyone just the same - newbie or veteran.

There is always a wealth of knowledge on this site so don't give up on CW.com just yet. ;)

You definately need to hang around long enough to participate in one of the outdoor writers (Tony) "who said this quiz"

For real bellotabucks we just have fun especially with new guys and we mean nothing by it. Anyone of us would try and help but we like doing it privately for obvious reasons. A lot of people especially guest like to monitor and never join us.

It took me 9 straight days of hard hunting last year to pull a nice 3x3 out of the Galiuros.

Last day 11:30 am 100 yards, he was at a full spooked run.....I was not going to let this guy get away again!

This was all due to the very high pressure this area had recieved from hunters, hikers, and horseback riders.

The best advice....Get way away form any trailhead or road

Try 4-5 miles back in, do at least 3 nights in a backcountry spike camp.

anything between 4-mile and Deer creek are good if you get far away from the roads and Trail heads..

good luck

Just like the others posted. If you are willing to get off the easily accessed areas, you will find more dear and better bucks. Send me a PM with your email and I can give you some general areas.
