AR15 stripped lowers?

What should I look for when choosing one? I see prices ranging from $80 to $300+

I have one from az armory and I have never had any issues. Plus it's designed so you don't need to use a wedge. I also have DPMS and another one from a place in Scottsdale. A lot of them are machined right hear in az under several names. David

I'm partial to Rock River, but honestly anything you find that is mil-spec is probably a good bet. Anderson run around $70 per lower individually and as low as $50 in bulk. They are 7075 T6 aluminum. Same as Spikes and other makes.

It depends on what features you want. If you are looking for something basic, then any forged lower will do. If you want more features like ambidextrous controls, integrated trigger guard and a better looking design then go with a machined billet lower.

 

Check out the billet offerings from Predator Technology Group. My buddy owns the company and they are in Phoenix. I really like the design of their receivers.

I have psa and Anderson lowers with no problems at all. Usually they have some good black Friday specials. Last time I bought lowers for $35 a piece

Aero.

 

They built most of them for multiple "manufacturers"

Bump on the Aero Precision, something like 60% of the lowers made today come from Aero. I own 3 very happy with them.

Seems about right. They are always out of stock. When a local ffl gets some they are gone with in hours. Like 6 sold in as many hours.
