Str8Shot Report post Posted September 15, 2016 Would be interesting to see after it sheds his velvet.cactus bucks do not shed their velvet ... They usually have neutured themselves to the degree they are not producing enough testosterone to trigger the shedding process nor breed. There are also cases of Doe having similar growth as a cactus buck due to ovarian abnormalities.

Guest akaspecials Report post Posted September 15, 2016 Does anyone have much experience with cactus bucks? We're thinking he is 2-3 years old. Will his antlers grow out or keep growing in that afro fashion?
208muley Report post Posted September 15, 2016 They never stop growing and anything can happen with the growth... Some grow typical frames with trash and some are weirdos all the way till they die. Cool animals for sure.
